I worked at CGI

Pros

scope of opportunity; some great people

Cons

short term view for revenue and costs; extremely risk averse

Advice to ManagementAdvice

what has worked in the past may not be appropriate in the future; need to act like a global company not a federation of regional tribes

Approves of CEO

    I worked at CGI

    Pros

You get to try a lot of different things because of the multiple projects.

    Cons

Billing per hour model not always optimal for best solution. Not the same satisfaction as when projects are well handled in terms of what is delivered.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not really sure, it depends who.

If you're not upper management, forget about it. It's just not worth it.

I have been working at CGI

    Pros

Let me know when you find out. I love the work, but CGI has nothing to do with that.

    Cons

No respect for employees, the company only thinks about making money and nothing else. Their constant attempt at making us think we are "members" instead of employees are pathetic at best. They promise the world and deliver none of it. I haven't been able to take any courses because they want me to learn "on my own time".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop thinking that growth is the only thing you need. Once in a while, you need to stop and take measure of your growth and adjust your management style.

    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO
