CHRISTUS Health – “Do not go to work here”

Pros

Co-Workers really cared about their work and thought they were doing good work - really living "the mission" that corp mgmt kept touting.

Cons

No loyalty to their staff. Laying off anyone who won't relocate to Dallas area. Consolidating all in to one location and losing their most experienced staff. Won't work with anyone who can't relocate. Many long time staff are being let go.

Advice to Senior Management

Reconsider the timeline for the move. Work with people and replace them in Dallas thru attrition or promotions. You are going to lose a lot of talented people really quickly. Those who work in the regions are going to really be impacted by this move. They won't be able to find "like" jobs in those area. Live your mission and values like you say you do.
