CIBER is very flexible about work arrangements. This will also be noted in the Con below. If you need to work from home, the management is very understanding of the need to telecommute sometimes.

Cons

The ability to telecommute is a devil's bargain and management will exploit this, even if more staffing should be the long-term approach to service delivery targets. While this is true to some extent of all IT, it seems that there is little recognition or sympathy for the concept of having to balance work and home life. 7 day work weeks are common, and often expected.

Advice to Senior Management

My advice is more communication from the upper management at the divisions to employees. When promises are made, they need to stick to them. Too often they seem to be forgotten.
