CIGNA HealthCare of Arizona – “A decent company that could eventually be a great one!”
Pros
- Ample PTO allowances & policies that force you to take time off
- Generous Tuition Reimbursement Annually
- Easy work environment
- Flexible schedules
- Wide variety of experienced co-workers that like to share knowledge
- Will promise you the moon to take the job - makes you feel great!
Cons
- Unless you live in CA, you'll not get your PTO paid out when you leave.
- To get simple tuition reimbursement, you'll sign for a 2 year commitment
- Policies to creatively screw you out of Holiday pay, OT and shift differential
- All those new-hire promises are never followed through with.
- Constant cuts to shift differential, OT and anything pay related -- your pay always goes down with all the new policies and hardly goes up annually.
- Slow to get rid of bad management & very political place to work
Advice to Senior Management
Stop messing with people's pay! Don't take away 4% in shift differential, then only give 3% raise. Consider policies that are company-wide, not state specific, to promote company unity and not saving a buck. Also consider when instituting 4 negative pay policies, that you institute a positive policy (like throwing your employees a bone).
