    Pros

    The company is growing and provides training for possible advancement through tuition reimbursement and company training programs. Management generally assigns a task and the employees are expected to complete the task within a time frame. Management’s doors are always open and employees communicate openly between business units. The company and its employees are very charitable holding food drives and preforming community service on a regular basis. Great company to work for.

    Cons

    The company is growing and in preparation for the growth or merger it has become top heavy in management and job title, given this and the potential merger some positions may be eliminated after acclimation. Performance appraisals are lengthy and time consuming for employees and management to complete, so they are generally rushed with not a lot of thought.

    Advice to Management

    Encourage managers to determine employees careers goals and promote from within. Performance appraisals, monthly and quarterly reviews are a good time to communicate employee aspirations. Continue to grow responsibly.
