I have been working at CITGO

    Pros

CITGO offers a great compensation and benefits package. Some benefits are employer provided and employees do not have to pay anything. Work schedule is fairly flexible, offering a 9/80 schedule. Great opportunities for career advancement and CITGO offers training and development every year. CITGO has a great team who coordinates volunteer opportunities for those who want to give back to the community.

    Cons

In some departments, it appears that managers fall into their position by default. Some managers do not appear driven and become complacent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The tone at the top coming from the executives is great. They are very passionate about the company. However, the passion does not always make it to the middle line managers. We should always have a positive attitude towards change and view inefficiencies has an opportunity to grow and perform in the most optimal way possible.
