Pros

pays well, learned a lot.

Cons

bad management decision causing unneeded over work from employees. make on-shore employees train off-shore employees with the goal of cut back on-shore team. everyone is seeing this coming.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Key skill employees may opt to leave early before we get used then toss over board when the time come.

    Pros

Plenty of opportunities for advancement and trying new or different roles if you work hard and show a sense of urgency.

    Cons

Many legacy systems and products that were bought over the years that were difficult to interface with each other. Many territorial people who had been there for many years and did not want to share resources or information.

I have been working at CNO Financial Group

    Pros

The pay is pretty competetive and they have decent benefits.

    Cons

Your chances for advancement or promotion or even a raise were very hard to come by, even when you went above and beyond your duties. You should always keep your resume up to date because you never know if you/your department will be in the next round of lay offs. This happens very often.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They need to come out of the "good old boys' way of thinking and be cognizant of the young talent withing their organization.
