Pros

Senior level management is highly respected in the industry and within the company itself. Although I was not in the corporate office, the leadership was very accessible and frequently visited the site the show their support. Benefits were AWESOME!!!

Cons

The only downside, if there was one, was that the company's experience with this line of business was somewhat limited.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! You are a group of leaders that is greatly admired by others in the industry and by your employees.

    Pros

    Benefits were excellent. Company did not micro-management sales people, which allowed for flexibility and the ability to make decisions based upon interaction with the client.

    Cons

    The really was not any negative comments that I can say about the company. On the whole the 7 years with the company were an excellent learning experience.

    I have been working at CO-OP Financial Services part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Part timw hours available...work with your schedule in the beginning. Nice people.

    Cons

    In training...they don't tell you that about 80% of the time you cant help the customers because they need to contact the credit union specifically BUT they expect you to lie to them and tell them that you are from the credit union. Also, tons of calls...they get annoyed if you are off the phone at all, even to use the rest room. You are timed so to speak. Weekly meetings are awesome, but the scheduling people usually take them away due to high call volume so you have no idea when you are actually going to get to speak with your sup or if you are doing good or not.

    Advice to Management

    more breaks...at least 5-10 minutes, allow people to use the restroom...pay increases for dealing with so much screaming from the customer because we cant help them most of the time. Give the team leads something to do...they are usually sitting around laughing BUT when you need them for help they are rude to you.
