Pros

As a consulting company, they can get me work quickly. I can barely rate the company because they only pay me. My real experience is with the company I am outsourced to. Comsys pays every other week, and is easy to reach on the phone or in email. They respond to my questions quickly and efficiently. At hire, it was not explained to me that there would be no paid time off, and I forgot to ask. In the past, an employee would be compensated for the lack of paid time off, or get paid time off, and because I forgot to ask, I got neither.

Cons

The downside is zero benefits of any kind. As a consultant, I am taking on more risk, and trading for better pay because I don't have long term security, paid benefits, and employee stock option plans. I forgot to take this into account with my original salary negotiation, and now I feel my pay is well below others in my industry doing the same work.
