I have been working at CRC Health Group

Pros

The clinical core of this company is excellent. The dedication from the clinical team is amazing. Counselors really care about the patients and their success.

Cons

With the exception of the COO, the senior management is leading this company in the wrong direction.
No communication at ALL.
The employees that do NOTHING are recognized, while the staff that work 24/7 are overlooked, or demoted.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

If I did , would they listen? Nope. They are too busy running the company into the ground...

    I worked at CRC Health Group

    Pros

    Innovative behavioral healthcare giant in the field of addiction treatment, behavioral youth programs, and eating disorder treatment. Strong dedicated clinical and program leadership throughout organization. Some smart people watching the overall bottom line while allocating substantial resources for client/patient success.

    Cons

    Middle to senior management often ineffective in facing leadership challenges. Fear was way too prevalent among employees-fear of making mistakes and being punished or losing their job. Even though this rarely happened, the culture was still way too fear based. Lacking a generally pervasive positive culture where every employee felt valued for their part. Employee development occured when self-initiated-not a company value that was year over year consistantly fostered, encouraged, and financially supported.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Talent development, talent development, talent development! Shed the management who can't or won't lead. For those capable of growth/change train, train, train and then hold them accountable for leadership results with the staff they are supposed to be leading.
