Low pay and a lot of BS

Drug and Alcohol Counselor (Former Employee) Elkton, MD

ProsIn the year and a half that I worked for this company I learned a lot about my chosen field. My supervisor was very good at working around my family commitments.

Cons-The compensation was way lower than it should be for the amount of work.
-My coworkers were catty mean girls. Nothing was done about it when brought to management attention.
-Employees are not valued for the amount of work they do.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you paid more and treated your employees better you wouldn't be so short staffed.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Gain valuable experience.. but at a cost.

    Pros: Work can be very rewarding while working in addictions. Cons: Severe micromanaging. Poor benefits for what's paid for them. (I'm a single female, and I pay almost $200/mo for benefits and it doesn't cover much.)… Advice to Senior Management: Learn that your micromanaging is frustrating to those of us who do our jobs properly.
