Pros

For all the constant restructure & management incompetance, I can't say my 10+ yrs with AAA have served me wrong. Each frustrating comp-plan change eventually leads to more $ in my pocket...so, I guess I can't complain.

Cons

My support staff is non-existant & my Mangement knows NOTHING! Somehow, they find a way to pay these people a pretty decent salary, yet I'm the one teaching them how to 'lead' the way? They don't even know how to use the Software let alone assist me in any way!

Advice to Management

Sr Management seems to be the back-bone of the company...lower-level management is useless. Sr Management has always seemed open to my input & values my opinions...but, I guess that's to be expected when I put so much money in their pockets!

    CSAA HAS A GOOD REPUTATION FOR IT'S CLAIMS DEPARTMENT AND ERS RELIABILITY, AND IF YOU ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO FIND A SUITABLE "LATERAL" POSITION WITHIN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS TO 1 YEAR, YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO FIND SOME MEASURE OF SUCESS BEFORE THE "BURN OUT" HITS. SUGGESTION: GO FOR A POSITION WHERE YOU ARE NOT DEALING WITH ANY CUSTOMERS!

    FEEDBACK ON JOB PERFORMANCE SUBJECTIVE, A "THEY'RE OUT TO GET YOU" MENTALITY AND WORK ATMOSPHERE (ESPECIALLY "QUALITY ASSURANCE") THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX IS IGNORED AND LOOKED DOWN UPON, EVEN THOUGH THEY PAY GOOD LIP SERVICE TO IT. MANY BUSINESS PRATICES STILL DONE LIKE IT'S THE 50'S OR 60'S. THEY HAVEN'T GROWN WITH THE TIMES OR THEIR ENVIRONMENT WHATSOEVER

    Advice to Management

    DON'T BE AFRAID TO LISTEN TO THE ADVICE OF YOUR FRONT-LINE EMPLOYEES. JUST BECAUSE WE DON'T ALL HAVE DEGREES DOESN'T MEAN WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT. WE ARE THE LIFELINE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS---AND YOUR SUCESS IN BUSINESS

    The salary is fine for the type of work

    Cons

    No clear direction on where we are going. Too many changes in a short perisod of time without taking the time to figure out why things are not working

    Advice to Management

    Hold mid level managment accountable for their actions. Make them work toward a common goal.
