Micromanagement Central

Sales and Service Associate (Current Employee) Walnut Creek, CA

ProsThe benefit package, including vacation pay, though there are a lot fewer perks than there used to be.

ConsAn unrealistic workload with outrageous expectations to go along with it. The company's idea of work-life balance has become an insult to an otherwise dedicated staff. Less respect for diversity since the HQ moved from San Francisco. Endless cycles of layoffs and resultant brain drain.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't rely on outsiders' limited assessments. Be honest with your employees (for a change). If the company is doing as well as you say it is, why are most employees suffering? Don't you trust the people responsible for making your company profitable?

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at CSAA Insurance Group full-time for more than 10 years
