    Approves of CEO

    Pros

If you are a high performer, you WILL be rewarded. Flexible management, new leadership is top notch, no more 'old boys club' mentality, CSC is in for a huge turn around in the marketplace

    Cons

Culture has a history of being overly political, but this does seem to be changing with new executive leadership. Development has been limited in the past, but again, talent seems to be a focus of new leadership

    Advice to Management

Change management is important, those who have been with CSC a significant amount of time will benefit from open and honest communication and a clear path to the companies goals. Ramp up the focus on talent management, the best of the best, produce the best products, services and in turn, the most satisfied shareholders

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Good relevant experience with the technologies used. Long term (in today's meaning of long term) work opportunity.

    Cons

They treat the people as if they are expendable. Instead of building on the good talent that comes through the doors most of the technical talent is treated as if they are disposable. It all starts with local leadership in place. This was written for the 2010 and 2011 time period.

    Advice to Management

Project leadership was good but some of the Development and QA management practices for the Raleigh based State associated project could be much better by focusing on the people and less on the "bring them in ; over work them and fire them quick" mentality shown. The pay associated to the positions should be also better. This would allow the project to keep the best people ultimately costing the project less money. Instead talented employees will use the project to fill a gap and find the next best thing coming instead of being committed to an organization that shows some commitment to them.
