Potential for injury in confined space, repetetive motion, awkward body positioning tasks.

Pittsburgh, PA

Former Employee – worked at CSI

ProsDriven. Well managed but for the issue referred to below.

ConsTechnical training and advancment opportunity lacking particularly for those without a background in either electrical or, mechanical engineering. An poor understanding of hazardous conditions with regard to static body positioning and repetetive stress, by those charged with safety oversight has and can in the future lead to cumulative joint injuries.

Advice to Senior ManagementLearn all that you can with regard to human anatomy, biomechanics and physiology. It would be of great service to you in preventing future injury to your employees. If it's easier for you as engineers, use the reductionist model. Begin to develop an understanding of proper body positioning and ergonomics.
