I worked at CSX full-time for less than a year

Pros – Health Benefits and salaries are excellent. You get to travel, you get the opportunity to learn the transportation by train business. You also have the opportunity to advance through the ranks.

Cons – Seasoned employees don't take time to help you, could be more helpful when you are in your training stages of the job.

Advice to Senior Management – During your training period as a freight conductor you should train the person for a six month period so that the trainee can get a solid grasp of the job. Some people have no idea of what the railroad transportation business are about.
