I worked at CTR Group as a contractor (more than 3 years)

Pros

Possible to work off site or from home. Management not checking up on you all the time unless there is serious slacking off going on.

Cons

No support from management or staff members, senior management set in their ways from 20 years ago. Many recruiters have better ideas and a better understanding of the market than the managers. Very difficult to make any type of changes. Management wants results but does not provide with the necessary tools to get the results. Have 2 hours to 1 resume site during the day.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

provide training, update your system, try to support employees instead of putting them down - many of them know what is happening better on the market

Great pay if working out of the area, but layoffs are inevitable

I worked at CTR Group as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

The pay that CTR Corp will offer you is great, and this is especially if you are prior military with an (active/inactive) clearance.

    Cons

Eventually, the project that they assign you to will end......., and once the project is done with you, so will CTR.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When people are coming from out of state to work with CTR, it is sad to say that the employee must know of what he/she is entitled to. I wasn't aware that housing per diem was offered to out of state residents, and lost out on $12,000 (plus the money I had to pay from my regular paycheck to crash with a friend).
