Executive management is made up of friends and they promote 'yes men'.

Pros

Good for a new undergrad that wants to focus on developing software programming or QA skills.

Cons

Not much in terms of innovation - they focus on .NET and SQL Server, and are average at that.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

None, there is no point.

Current Employee - Consultant in Birmingham, AL

    Pros

Great people, a challenging environment, and plenty of opportunities to advance with the ability to work on varied technologies across multiple industries.

    Cons

The life of a consultant can be demanding and it isn't for everyone. If you don't want to be in an environment where you are asked to quickly adapt, change, learn, travel, or otherwise do something that might not be in your written job description then CTS is not the company for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

CTS has been working towards better communication across all levels of the organization. This effort needs to continue as some decisions should involve more than just upper management in order to ensure employee buy-in and adoption.

Great place to learn for new college grad, but quickly gets old

Former Employee - Software Engineer in Birmingham, AL

    Pros

It is a great place to be employed to learn the ropes of the consulting industry, but it is in fact a glorified labor shop.

    Cons

They will outsource you for $125/hour while paying you $20/hour. No real promotions, reviews are a joke. Management exhibits hints of racism (no minorities work there).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give across the board salary increases to match the market demand for the engineers.
