I have been working at CVS Health

    Pros

Flexibilty with schedule, like the people I work with, discount is nice, o.k. training as a tech.

    Cons

Payrate and the raise is pathetic. Long hours as a tech with little break. To many "hats to wear" as a tech. Part timer's should have some benefits. company is more conerned with sales then people. making phone calls to customer about med refills is annoying as well as the ready-fill. Customers an be demanding.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the ready fill, many customers complain about it and we waste more time filling rx's and returning them to stock because of this. Get rid of the PCQ calls, its annoying to bother people about thier medicine, they do not need to be "babysat". Tech's do to many things for such low pay, and part timers should be given some kind of benefits i.e. a few sick/vacations days to compensation for such low raises. Pharmacist need to higher more "mature" techs and not so many college students who do not like to work. Overall, a nice stepping stone but have no plans on staying long term due to the pay.

I have been working at CVS Health

    Pros

Great support from other managers and district manager. Having this type of support helps keep one motivated to do a good job.

    Cons

Sometime it may require long hours or working on days off to keep the store above standards. But just like any other retail job it sought of goes with the territory.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper Management (area managers) need more of an on hand approach of the day to day challenges of running a store. Sometimes there are just too many hands trying to stir the pot and no one knows what we are cooking.
