I worked at CVS Health part-time for less than a year

Pros

CVS is busy, so you never get bored. The work environment completely depends on your coworkers and especially the pharmacy manager.

Cons

CVS is very much about numbers. You must complete a certain number of phone calls and document everything, and you are always expected to have better and better numbers. There isn't much time for one-on-one patient care.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire people who like working with people. Otherwise you end up with pharmacists who like to hide behind the counter and have terrible attitudes about their store.

I have been working at CVS Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great internal support system. Meet interesting people. Challenges everyday.

    Cons

Operational side of the business can get in the way for what you need to accomplish. Really no communication from the upper management. The base pay is way below the average of $45,000 a year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate with everyone. No one likes to be kept in the dark. Raise everyone's pay to meet or exceed the average especially when we are breaking records with the business with over $116 Billion in revenue last year.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
