I have been working at CVS Health full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Each representative has a chance to learn and work independently.
Communication from the supervisor is good and allows you to improve

    Cons

I believe there is a lack of training and the transition from training to the floor is not a smooth process

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Implement a more intense training program for the new people. It needs to be longer than 8 days and there needs to be more than one trainer.

I worked at CVS Health full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Friendly work atmosphere, great co-workers, decent hours, not much travel required unless helping with new store openings

    Cons

Raises are laughable, staffing is always short, job requires you to accomplish multiple tasks (stocking, cleaning, facing, answering phone, etc) all while ringing up customers at the register.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When I was first hired, our store had 15 employees, and 5 years later when I quit, we had 7. Everyone was working triple duty just to get the basics done. The store had major morale issues by the end of my time there, and in 5 years of service I had made less than 1 dollar in raises total (including 2 promotions). My advice is to treat your employees better if you want to make them work hard.
