I have been working at Cadence Health as a contractor for less than a year

Pros

Great group of people in the Rehabilitation Department!!! Supportive, caring, fun and positive!

Cons

The only con is that I would love to become a PT or FT member of their in-patient or out-patient team and right now they simple do not have to need. Maybe in the futiure!

Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are many changes taking place simultaneously due to a merge in process. Change is harder for some people vs. others and that needs to be kept in perspective during the process.

    I have been working at Cadence Health full-time

    Pros

    State of the art technology, expanding, prestigious institution. Fun people to work with, great camaraderie between departments.

    Cons

    Pay is less than other area hospitals. Lots of turnover in our department and change in a short period of time.
    Constant change within the department. Staff being asked to come in on their days off for meetings. No overtime offered. Working short staffed.

    I have been working at Cadence Health full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Ability to receive step bonuses if your area of the hospital meets it's goals set by administration.

    Cons

    Administration always asking employees to accomplish more and more, but they don't want to pay for certifications or committee meetings.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Value the hard workers you have on the floors who touch the patients every day. Walk a few days in their shoes to see how difficult it can be to accomplish what they do daily and keep your satisfaction scores as high as they are. Get out your office, take off your heels and experience your hospital
