Pros

Good technology to work with and grow skills in new areas. Many great people and innovators in the company early on that were amazing to work with.

Cons

Technical people promoted to justify higher salaries, but given no training on how to manage or coach people. Bad personality mixes in teams led to many confrontational situations that hindered productivity. The CEO comes from the food industry, and views everyone like disposable factory workers.

Advice to Management

Listen to people in the trenches who are doing the work, to experts that are already employed and vested in the company future. Too many projects are done in a vacuum, without

    Nice weather, casual attire, clean atmosphere

    Disorganized and disrespectful management that look down on you, no growth.

    Give credit to those that are under you and stop being so arrogant.

    Pros

    since they understaff in all areas you have a chance to do alot of things if you want.

    Cons

    zero communicaition

    pay not on par with other companies

    no loyalty to employees

    Advice to Management

    you will never retain the talent you need with current practices

    also look into validation of information and practices before acting, too much trust in folks that are not that good at what they do is costing you lots of time and money
