    Pros

    They supply housing as compensation.

    Cons

They create extra work for those below them to make it seem that they are going above and beyond in their job to their boss. They pride themselves of every little thing that "they" do... when it's really their staff because they don't lift a finger. Your hard work will not be recognized unless you go around bragging and over exaggerating to everyone. They will preach and preach and when it comes down to it they will prove the biggest hypocrites you will ever meet. They all think they are excellent psychologists, when in fact that is not what their job is about (or shouldn't be). Note - a degree in psychology DOES NOT make you a good psychologist. This is a common misconception here and they just don't get hints either.

    Advice to Management

Rid of every single CD, or similar title, and hire just a few (because that's all that is truly needed) excellent, hard-working people who will act and not just give orders from their desk.

  2. Don't expect advancement

    Pros

The people are nice. It is convenient to where I live. There are a lot of places to eat around campus.

    Cons

In my experience the place operates like a soviet-style politburo, rewarding the faithful over the qualified. There are very few ways to get a raise or promotion unless you change jobs out of your current department and into another.
