“The managers really take good care of their people.”
Former Employee – worked at Camber
Pros – The management focues on the wellfare of their employees. The company culture is family friendly. Ethics are important and hard work is generally rewarded.
Cons – Ever since the company was sold to a private equity firm, the employer 401k contribution has fallen. The company is in the defense industry which will consilidate over the next few years and may lead to job losses.
Advice to Senior Management – In this enviornment, focus on winning work and not just on the margins. As an opportunity for growth, explore opportunities for business away from the government.
