I have been working at Camber full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

I really feel like my manager cares about me and my role. They are flexible with working at home. The vetting process is better than other places I have worked. The people really are friendly.

    Cons

None that I can think of.

    Good benefits, odd management structure.

I have been working at Camber full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Camber has really good benefits. Medical and dental are just about the best out there (equate to an ACA Gold package). Also has a generous 401k.

    Cons

Keeping in mind that I am working off site from Camber's headquarters in Huntsville, the management structure is odd. My direct supervisor doesn't even work in the corporate headquarters and is in fact all the way across the country on a separate coast. I have zero direct supervision and my performance is reviewed based on the LACK of complaints about my customer service. Just odd to me, I guess, after 20 + years of military service.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Outreach to remote employees. It's hard to make them feel like part of the team when no one ever reaches out to them in person. It is also alienating to get the group e-mails about certain good deals going on in the office when my office is 4000 miles away from the good deal.
