Once you reach the Analyst position

Investment Performance Analyst (Current Employee)

ProsOnce you become an Analyst you have a lot more flexibility and leadership opportunities. Similarly, there a tons of opportunities to get involved, but you do need to be proactive and seek them out. The position is realyl what you want to make of it.

ConsTo get to the Analyst role there is a lot of time spent in the Associate and Senior position, which can be quite grueling and thankless at times. Also, promotion is only available when there is an opening, so despite exceeding expectations and ready to move on to the next step, I was stuck in the other roles longer than necessary.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere should definitely be more increases in salary. Salary is good for starting, however, it could be a year or two before you see any increase.
