I worked at Cameron as a contractor for more than a year

Pros

-Great pay, benefits, etc.
-So many issues within certain divisions that there is nearly an unlimited amount of work to do
-Very flexible work schedule

Cons

-No communication from VP and Director level leadership
-Too much go-around to get very simple things done
-Very little desire to develop and grow talent (many simply do not care about training in any capacity)
-Good ole boy system
-Low team dynamic, most are out for themselves.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

VPs/Directors: listen to your Managers, specifically the ones who are actually working. Work on engaging your managers and employees. Turnover will continue to raise while morale steadily drops.

    Pros

    My favorite part about the Cameron internship was the environment. People were always so nice and helpful.

    Cons

    My least favorite part about my Cameron internship was the down-time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    As an intern, it was annoying that we did not know the location of our internship until April. As for the whole internship experience, Cameron has a great internship program, however, more responsibility for the interns would be more beneficial and self-rewarding.

    Pros

    great benefits, family atmosphere, profit sharing,

    Cons

    get EVERYTHING in writing as far as contract agreements and benefits, it took too long to get promised benefits, company car, etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    review compensation packages and also schedules for field personnel they have lives too, no set standards
