I have been working at Camp Bow Wow full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You are around dogs all the time. What's not to like about that. You learn a lot about dogs and dog breeds.

    Cons

Pay is not great. There is a lot of cleaning. CBW thrives on being clean. You clean an average of 4 hours a day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Give better pay.

    Not what I expected!

I worked at Camp Bow Wow part-time for less than a year

    Pros

If you like working with dogs more than anything, this is the job for you. Employees are nice for the most part. I didn't really 'connect' with anyone there. You can bring your own dogs for free and the work gets relatively easier as you catch on.

    Cons

Constant cleaning is involved with the job, no work benefits, you can't pick up any dogs, you can't put your face in theirs (in an affectionate way), constant labor, pay could be better, etc. I found myself cleaning for 5 hours, and in the yards for 2 hours. Yards are small and not fun.
