Pros

Good computers, good IT support, decent pay and bene's - the parties weren't too bad.

Cons

No promotional opportunities, management likes to typecast and there are NO creative opportunities unless you studied at CCS. It doesn't matter how good your portfolio is, if you don't have the right degree from the right school you can't "do" certain jobs. Be prepared to be ridiculed for not going to the right school and, this goes without saying, YOU WILL BE OVERWORKED!

Advice to Senior Management

Be more flexible in promoting. Listen to "low-level" employees who may not actually be low-level, especially after 5-6 years in the same position. Be suspicious if a manager always takes credit for the team's work - can that manager really do the work? Don't judge people based on where they went to college, especially if it's been more than 5 years and the employees have consistently proved themselves through the years. Just because someone didn't study what you think is the right degree doesn't mean they can't do the job. Give 'em a chance!
