Fun and Character-building Experience

Resident Advisor (Current Employee) Scarborough, ON (Canada)

ProsThe coworkers
The comprehensive training in things like SafeTALK, LGBTQ matters, CPI, fire safety, WHMIS, etc.
Dealing with sensitive matters like sexual abuse and suicide (You could really make a difference in someone's life)

ConsAlways being on-call
Having to deal with idiot residents who behave like children instead of college students
Dealing with sensitive matters like sexual abuse and suicide (After a while, depending on what you're like, this could wear you down emotionally, psychologically)

Advice to Senior ManagementPersonally, my manager has an open door policy and doesn't keep anything from us if we ask, so communication is good there. I guess I'd say keep it up.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Heres your work space, now go.

Residence Services Reresentative (Current Employee) Kamloops, BC (Canada)

I have been working at Campus Living Centres full-time for more than a year

Pros: I like working here because I'm in a position of respect, and I am responsible… Cons: No training is provided, managment is typically annoyed when you ask for direction, my voice doesn't get heard by management, and holds no weight.… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

Pros: work on your own with limited supervision Cons: large budgets short amount of time with a small marketing… Advice to Senior Management: have outside people hired very little life experienced in upper… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
