    Pros

An opportunity to work, learn, receive your license accreditation.

    Cons

Management just doesn't seem to listen to their "top talent" in the industry, that's why there's a huge turn-over of good employees. The pay isn't good and it should keep up to par with the rest of the companies out there! Benefits package is a good deal but people need more...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give a good listen to the feedback from your employees, past and present. If you're thinking of creating new changes, then make it a "go for it attitude", don't muddle in the puddle about it.

    Pros

Benefit Package. Nice physical office space. Nice downtown location.

    Cons

Senior Manager completely opposite in personality at interview and when working. No care about how a person may be doing if ill, experiencing a diffculty. Micromanaged to the point that they watch the expressions on employees faces during meetings and will call you into a private meeting if they don't like what they perceive. Several months of delay in informing about certain errors and in the time period from the first of such errors to when you are notified, more of the same errors have occurred and then you are called into a meeting and berated. One of the assistant managers is extremely moody. All smiles and happiness one day and snapping at people the next for no discernible reason. Managers at all levels play favorites. Suddenly a person that was below you in the workplace hierarchy is a supervisor and your superior. Meetings scheduled during the workday for all staff and breaks are taken away because of them. Meetings scheduled during lunch breaks, with lunch provided, but the time for the working lunch is unpaid because they scheduled it during lunch times. Feedback that is not 100% positve is not tolerated. A lot of pop-culture bandwagonning: uses "colors" to slot workers into personality types.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper Management needs to be overhauled. Increase salaries to be in line with other insurance companies. Stop the morning meetings where the very same info is gone over month after month after month. Stop with the housekeeping and cleaning chores. Open your eyes as to what the stats really are. Targets are not met because call volume is low, not because people are lazy. Recognize that some of your office superstars cheat. Recognize that one of your assistant managers is loud, abrasive, plays favorites and possibly has other issues that affect not only her but team members.
