Good pay, good people, able to move across departments, bonuses for all management levels, good benefits.

Cons

Poor work/life balance if you're involved in the operation in any way

Hire more people to run the operation at the ground level. Treat the workers better.

    Very bureaucratic, silos within IT departments, lower funding for IT

    Get technically savvy managers within IT, more funding for telecom. There's no IT without a network to run on.
