Former Employee - Engineering Job in Guelph, ON (Canada)

I worked at Canadian Solar full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    - Competitive Salary
    - Relaxed Environment.

    Cons

    - Very disorganized.
    - Global Engineering directors don't know what they are doing.
    - There is no bright future for the company.
    - People at higher positions are not well suited for the position they are in.
    - The have favoritism inside the company based on the nationalities and origins.
They tend to hire people who are working as reviewers on their projects in other companies and try to steal them or remove them from their job by offering them good salary and once the person is in, they keep him on the side. So if you are being offered a lucrative position at the company think from this aspect before you decide to join.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You need to hire the right people for the right job especially global directors.
