    Profit sharing , good deals , decent pay

    Cons

    always expecting more and tough to get work life balance

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    All store should have the same customer policies. Remember that staff have families and its not always about the $$.Head office should spend more time in stores and less at there desk to better understand the impact of some of their poor decisions.

    I worked at Canadian Tire full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    - great team environment
    - opportunity for movement laterally to different divsions and up
    - great canadian brand

    Cons

    - many levels of buy-in required on programs
    - may be more difficult for some not used to matrixed organizations and the levels of collaborative communication required before sign-offs
    - work life balance can be tough given intense retail and competitive pressures
