Pros

good products. good office working conditions. renumeration abiove average

Cons

excessive hours per week. excessive travel and poor expenses package. Home life compromised
Remuneration package not in best interest of customers

Advice to ManagementAdvice

. learn more about the products you sell.Recognise undue presures on subordinates early to ensure remedial action taken (before they go sick with stress/depression). Do not set unrealistic targets to drive subordinates.(its very short term and ends in failure).Canon used to be a happy company with excellent customer relationships! Why has this changed? If the fish has gone bad, look at its head!

    The people make this job great team work mentality and lots of opportunity for development , competitive pay and family friendly

    Cons

    Not every department within Canon ha same policies, it can't be one rule for one and one for another more consistency across the board is needed

    Reward and recognition is always high on the list of wants, sometimes it would be nice to be more recognised for a job well done by management not just colleagues

    Pros

    There is a huge amount of reward and recognition, staff incentives, bonuses, discount for the products we supply as well as a lot of different theme days, they support the local community by investing time and money in keeping parks maintained. They support charities every month as well as having free legal advice in case you need it, for any reason. They have a summer hours policy which makes a huge difference to the work/life balance.

    Cons

    The salaries aren't quite up to a living wage for the area we live in, there are times when information isn't filtered down as quickly as it could be and the contacts for customer are always changing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If they could keep departments the same for a while, our customers would have more confidence in being able to reliably speak to one contact about any issues they have.
