Feels like a sinking ship, lot's of resignations before Midyears

Associate (Current Employee)
New York, NY

Pros13/15 Best place to Work...
3 weeks vacation per year and a generous holiday schedule

ConsMorale is low and people are leaving at all levels and they don't seem to care about matching offers.
Quality of projects is below average, you are sold a dream and encounter a reality of dead-end projects such as testing, PM or similar back-office positions
Salaries below average, but they claim they offer "Market rates"
"Forced" vacations while on the bench, they call it Quality of Life

Advice to Senior ManagementIs Capco a Management Consulting firm, or just a group of Project Managers, Testers and other Back-office support. No shame in that, but that's not Forming the Future of Finance...

– I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Formerly small boutique strong firm that lost many strengths after merger/acquisition.

    Senior Management Consultant (Former Employee)
    San Mateo, CA

I worked at Capco full-time for more than 3 years

Pros: Still has many quality people to work with, growing, good international… Cons: Significant dilution of talent and focus after acquisition of many former Bearing Point personnel… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

Small company benefits -- visibility, opportunity to make an impact

    Senior Consultant (Former Employee)
    New York, NY

I worked at Capco full-time for more than a year

Pros: People care, focused more on people than metrics, meritocracy. You can grow as fast as you… Cons: not enough client diversification, reliance on a couple of big… Advice to Senior Management: More investment in learning -- and make sure people get… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
