Pros

- Not aware of any. Was placed @ local client's location from day 1. Went to office only 3 times during final settlement.

Cons

Many...
I found below cons while working in LBS. NOT sure/ NO comments about other pools/unit.
- Once you join LBS, you will be placed @ local client location until project is completed or you resign.
- Impossible to get release from the project or change the pool.
- I have seen some managers with very bad communication skills. God knows how they manage with customers.
- You will be asked to work on weekends and holidays. Manger will promise to compensate it with comp offs(day off). But when time comes to avail it, you will neither be allowed to take comp off (day off) nor financially compensated for balance comp offs.
I have seen many colleagues with 20 + comp offs and no way to compensate it.
- It is useless talking your concerns with manager or HRs. they simply do not care.

    Pros

    Flexible timings

Some business units have very good projects.

    Cons

LBS is not a good pool to work with.. You are totally cut off from CG because you are supposed to be working out of the client location.

If they do not have projects, they will pressurize you to leave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please concentrate on recruiting more pro active RMG.

Do away with LBS - else in a few years time, Capgemini will be reduced to nothing short of a consultancy !!
