I worked at Capital One full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Having nice customers, that understand the changes are not the banking floor staff

Cons

The sales program is not the correct way to gain happy customer, pushing productions on customers, and if the staff doesn't meet high goal that are set they are put on warning.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

To listen to people that have been in Banking for a long time, it not all about the number, Customer service should be first.

    I have been working at Capital One part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    If you lke customer service, this is the right job! You get 4 weeks of PTO on starting with the company. Great incentives!

    Cons

    If you dont have a good team, it will be tough! Team work is a must! Sometimes you will need to motivate your peers!

    Promote those who show promise instead of hiring from the outside!

    I have been working at Capital One full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Top notch talent sourced from the best colleges and industries. Very open culture - individual opinion matters and not very hierarchical when it comes to sharing feedback/ideas on projects. Very results focus.

    Cons

    Constantly changing agenda/strategy. You will be unique if you have the same manager for more than 6 months. Re-organizations are very common.
