I worked at Capital One full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

benefits are the best thing about this job. the tuition reimbursement was really good.

    Cons

the managers are sour people. They mess up big and cover it up or blame it on people below them. the pay is very low compared to others.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

for the sake of longevity they need people who are understanding and able to work with others. HR does follow up on complaints but nothing ever changes. they need to maybe send managers to etiquette classes. people are not animals.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Capital One full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

There's a great flexible work hours and many young people. You be given a lot of responsibilities right off the bat and will have many opportunities to lead projects.

    Cons

There's a "mold" you need to fit in with the culture. It can be difficult to be a part of the in crowd if you don't fit their definition of success.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recruit from a wider range of schools & companies to grow the diversity of the company.
