Capital One – “Capital One”

Pros

Capital One appears strong and will likely make it through the financial crises. The business plan is sound and leadership seems to be at least one step ahead of changes in the economy.

Cons

Corporate culture is based on making sure you get credit for work done and aren't associated with failure. Thus, it is difficult to find anyone willing to make important decisions. This was my experience and it may be different in other divisions of the company.

Advice to Senior Management

There are too many leaders and not enough workers at Capital One - you're top heavy.
