Pros

Smart people, work life balance, empowerment of associates, trainings, easy movement across multiple lobs or job family

Cons

too much consensus building or socialization, becoming more like big retail bank and losing the analytical mindset which was its powerhouse to be successful

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide autonomy and appropriate resources to middle level management.. Prioritize things across the board consistently

    Pros

You can publicly look for other roles within the organization
Great benefits (onsite gym @ $15/mos, nurses office, subsidized meals, car wash, 401k)
Decent bonus (~25% of salary at sr. mgr title)

    Cons

Politics within teams are hefty and memories are long.
Average tenure in some teams exceeds 10 years

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want your team to improve, train them. Coach them. Stagnate careers leads to unengaged teams.
