Pros

If you are at a busy branch, you have a chance to make great incentives. If you are that lucky, the sky is the limit on your incentive pay.

Cons

Policy and procedures seem to change weekly and without notice. Nothing is consistent.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should do a better job at building employees for the purpose of promotion.

I have been working at Capital One full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Work environment, good benefits, discounted stock purchase. Diverse associate population with a significant number of women in senior leadership roles.

    Cons

Politics. Working after hours often expected ... Very youth oriented. Capital One has a tendency to re-organize every couple of years, hiring younger associates, and laying off experienced, higher paid associates. Many of the senior management positions are filled from outside the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None. The company makes $1B +/quarter!
