Captaris – “Solid place to work with poor exec management”

Pros

Captaris was well run from the mid level management standpoint however senior leadership was somewhat out of touch.

Cons

Senior leadership was out of touch with the employees. Many times products were developed and released without insight from the sales and marketing teams.

Advice to Senior Management

Since Captaris is no longer in business due to the Open Text acquisition I don't have much advice except to learn from your mistakes and lead the next company a bit better.
