I have been working at CarMax full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great place to work, they really appreciate what you do, teambuilders, decent pay, decent benefits, great work life balance.

    Cons

Health plan is mediocre, Upward mobility even for top performers is nonexistent, your manager will speak out of both sides of their mouth (using lots of words to not say anyting)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote from within, most management is hired from outside. Doesn't give much hope to those of us wanting to move up.
