I have been working at Caradigm full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Building its bed with MSFT base and siphoning the talent from their degrading pool.

Cons

The lack of corporate integrity and lack of insight into the market they claim to serve. Not a leader but a follower that tries to make bread from bread crumbs. Smoke and mirrors tactics.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get out of the healthcare space and fire the corporate execs who are profiting from this venture at the expense of the healthcare market place and the technical staff who are over-worked and poorly invested in.

I have been working at Caradigm full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great space they are working in
good young folks and seem to have passion for healthcare
    good health benefits

    Cons

Management is crap and no one has any experience running a startup. They have run big divisions inside GE and Microsoft, but no one has bonafide experience running a startup like company
They are just confused between GE and Microsoft folks, and lot of politics and land grab
The engineers who come from GE are substandard compared to folks from Microsoft side, so there is lot of mistrust.
Pay and Perks are not good for new folks joining in. Folks who came from Microsoft made out a lot, and still are very highly paid compared to others in the company
Too many senior people with not enough work(everyone is a director or VP with no work), so if you want to join for career development, forget it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You can prune half the middle management and the company will still run fine. Way too much dead wood hiding in middle management. It is crazy to count the number of VP's and Directors in this company. Bring people who have worked in startup companies and run this ship.

I have been working at Caradigm full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

great benefits, some of the best in the business with a no deductible plan. Nice location close to public transport and lots of lunch options available within walking distance

    Cons

Lack vision, operating business from quarter to quarter with no real direction
Management team inexperienced and focused on individual advancement. CEO leads through intimidation. Everyone is looking to leave and go back to Microsoft, they are even losing people from senior management (Rich Berner just resigned)
    Customers are unhappy and leaving
Big company culture on a start up budget
people are completely overworked, no such thing as work life balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you truly want the company to succeed you should quit or hire people that know how to run a start up
