I worked at Caradigm full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Working long hours means more technology expertise. So you do become an expert on many technologies within Microsoft technology stack.

Cons

Long work hours. Management wants you to live at work. Short tempered fellow employees due to stress. I felt no connection with the management's vision. Very heartless and selfish bosses. I quit last year and that was the best decision I could have made. Life is great one again :)

Doesn't Recommend
Negative Outlook
Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Caradigm full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Just the right size for me (not so small that we are worried about paying bills every month, but small enough that we are hungry and focused and make decisions quickly and not so big that we are a slow and lumbering giant)
No interference from our parents (GE and MS) always a worry with a joint venture
Good group of people to work with for the most part (every company has PITAs)
    Good transparency from management
Strong potential to be a legit player but we have to execute (see below)

    Cons

Room for improvement around execution esp. across teams and functions - esp. the combination of engineering + product management + services

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I (and I think many employees) would value having a direct stake in the company (i.e. through some type of employee equity in the company) - too many options in (tech/seattle/healthcare) that have and will continue to create employee retention problems

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO
