Cons

Due to Cardinal Health's size, there is a "Federal Government Effect", where information is passed around through so many people that it is often confusing and its transmission is lengthy in process. Cardinal does seem to be taking action to eliminate this effect.

Advice to Senior Management

Don't put the cart before the horse! Let employees know that you have a plan, but don't roll it out until it is finalized. When ideas or plans are rolled out, only to be modified repeatedly, this inspires distrust amongst employees.
