Pros

We directly impact the lives of patients in a positive way, the people I work with are very talented, and projects are challenging in a good way

Cons

In the Chicago area, opportunities for significant advancement are just not available because there are only 2 divisions, and if there are people in place above you, there is really nowhere to go

    too many changes, no clear direction. Most talked about event? When will the next layoff be and for whom.

    Growing industry & company a leader in the segment.

    Cons

    Company is not innovative or creative, but tends to buy new companies that are innovative. The company is not very good at developing new product ideas, or executing on them. The development process is different between most projects, though there is a drive to unify them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Identify best practices that are proven to work and standardize across the company. Don’t rely on offshore resources as the response time is too slow & poor quality.
