Pros

Great co-workers and true team work and feel. Local teams have great team skills. Customer base is great and loyal for now.

Cons

They are moving away from local install bases and more towards install teams that travel in and out leaving the customer with only Call Center for support.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Remember your roots, your most important asset, your local field teams. Your customer depend on them more then you know.

    Micro managing everyone to death, constant travel, work life balance policy is no more.

    Cut the lard from the top, work out in the field for a week & see the slaves working from day to day.

    Pros

    If your willing to fight with your manager you can get a good wage.

    Cons

    Developers do not have the required skill constantly release horrible and buggy products.
    Everything is based on what Marketing thinks and they have no clue most of the time.
    Constant Layoffs so Upper Management can make their bonuses.
    Benefits constantly reduced
    Forced to work with old and outdated technology

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get talent in the right places and don't lay it off, let the engineers drive your product development not marketing. You do not need 50 layers of managers and a Vice president every fifteen feet lay these people off and get actual workers.
